CONSTRUCTION
The EL-SBHO Super Bright Series Emergency Light is constructed from injection-molded, engineer-grade, 5VA flame retardant thermoplastic. Skim and deco shape housing with two fully adjustable round shape lamp heads. White housing is standard with black housing option available.
ILLUMINATION
EL-SBHO Super Bright Series Emergency Light uses long-lasting, efficient ultra bright white LEDs. Fully adjustable LED lamp heads equipped with 4 white LEDs each. Lamp heads are on track-and-swivel arrangement allowing lamp heads to be fully adjustable.
EMERGENCY OPERATION
Upon failure of the normal utility power, an internal solid-state transfer switch automatically provides uninterrupted emergency operation for at least 90 minutes. The fully automatic solid-state, two-rate charger initiates battery charging to recharge a discharged battery in 24 hours.
BATTERY - BATTERY BACKUP
The EL-SBHO Super Bright Series Emergency Light is designed with a maintenance-free 6.4V 4000mAh LiFePO4 battery that provides a minimum emergency duration of 90 minutes. LiFePO4 batteries are known for their longevity, safety, and efficiency. With LiFePO4 batteries, safety is paramount – their formulation, lithium iron phosphate, is highly resistant to overheating and fire hazards. They are backed by an integrated battery management system (BMS) to prevent overcharge, over-discharge, and short-circuiting, ensuring peace of mind for users. Recharge time of the battery is 24 hours.

Disclosure:
Spacing is measured in lab condition with an assumed open space, no obstruction and reflection rates of 80 (ceiling) / 50 (walls) / 20 (floor). Actual spacing may vary depending on what environment the fixture is installed in.
SELF-TESTING OPTION
Continuously monitors the AC power, battery supply voltage, emergency lamp and charging circuit. The multi-color LED indicator light will indicate failure and adjust when it has been corrected. Unit will automatically perform NFPA required monthly and annual testing. Refer to user manual for details.
ELECTRICAL COMPONENTS
Universal voltage input 120-277VAC 50/60Hz operation. LED display indicates AC/ON. An external push button test switch allows maintenance personnel to quickly determine the operational status of the unit. Unit offers surge protected, solid state circuitry.
INSTALLATION
The EL-SBHO Super Bright Series Emergency Light is suitable for wall or ceiling mount. Snap together design allows for quick and easy installation. Conduit mount knockout on back plate only.
