CONSTRUCTION
The PA1 Series Exit Sign has a thin, low profile construction with 50' visibility. It has a durable plastic photoluminescent panel with a black plastic frame. This photoluminescent exit sign is explosion-proof for areas requiring explosion-proof exit signage.
ILLUMINATION
The PA1 Series Exit Sign has a viewing visibility of 50'. Provides consistent, uniform illumination.
EMERGENCY OPERATION
Upon failure of the normal utility power the PA1 exit sign will provide at least 90 minutes of illumination.
Charging this glow in the dark exit sign requires 54 LUX (5-ft candles) of LED, fluorescent, metal halide, or mercury vapor light for 60 minutes.
*The sign must be charged for a minimum of 60 minutes to become fully operational.
BATTERY - BATTERY BACKUP
The PA1 Series Exit Sign does not require a battery to operate.

ELECTRICAL COMPONENTS
The PA1 Series Exit Sign does not use nor require any type of electrical components.
INSTALLATION
The PA1 Series Exit Sign is designed for wall mount application. The black frame features holes in each corner for easy installation. For signs without a frame, double-sided tape (tape not provided) can be used for mounting. It also comes with two self-adhesive arrows for easy customization. This sign is suitable for both indoor and outdoor installations. However, prolonged exposure to direct sunlight in outdoor settings may lead to some discoloration, particularly in signs with plastic components. The photoluminescence of the lettering itself is not expected to be significantly affected by sunlight exposure.
