New York City Approved Exit Sign / Emergency Light Combo unit. Energy efficient and bright LED's power the EXIT sign verbiage and the fully adjustable lamp heads. This unit ships with 3 LED lamp heads, with the 3rd being optional. This NYC Combo Exit Light is single sided and allows for indoor surface wall mounting. EXIT faceplate has two optional pop-out directional chevron arrows.

CONSTRUCTION

The NYCOMBOLED Series combo exit sign features a rugged 20-gauge steel housing with a white or black powder coat finish. Faceplate meets NYC building code with its 8" EXIT letter height and 1" stroke.

ILLUMINATION

The emergency lamps are equipped with long-lasting, high-efficiency white LEDs that provide reliable illumination during power outages. When the AC power supply is cut off, the lamps deliver a bright output of 220 lumens or 330 lumens, ensuring adequate lighting in emergency situations.

BATTERY - BATTERY BACKUP

The NYCOMBOLED Series uses a 3.6V 2000mAh NiCad battery that provides 90 minute emergency run-time.

Spacing is measured in lab condition with an assumed open space, no obstruction and reflection rates of 80 (ceiling) / 50 (walls) / 20 (floor). Actual spacing may vary depending on what environment the fixture is installed in.

ELECTRICAL COMPONENTS

Universal input voltage of 120 to 277VAC at 50/60Hz. It features a recharge time of 24 hours and provides a duration of more than 90 minutes during emergency operation. Once the battery is fully charged, it automatically switches to a trickle charge mode to maintain optimal performance. The system includes battery over-discharge protection and a solid-state transfer circuit for reliable operation. Additionally, it is equipped with a test switch and a charge indicator light for easy maintenance and monitoring.

INSTALLATION

The NYCOMBOLED series combo exit sign features a highly configurable design includes additional faceplate (with knock-out left/right chevron arrows) to install fixture as double-sided. Universal mounting kit allows top, side or flush installation.
