New York City Approved Exit Sign / Emergency Light Combo unit. Energy efficient and bright LED's power the EXIT sign verbiage and the fully adjustable lamp heads. This unit ships with 3 LED lamp heads, with the 3rd being optional. This NYC Combo Exit Light is single sided and allows for indoor surface wall mounting. EXIT faceplate has two optional pop-out directional chevron arrows.

CONSTRUCTION
The NYCOMBOELR Combo Edge Lit Exit Sign housing is constructed of die-cast aluminum housing with an etched, clear acrylic panel. Double sided panel comes as mirrored configuration. Lettering is 8” high with 3/4” stroke. Aluminum housing color is standard with other housing colors available.
ILLUMINATION
The NYCOMBOELR Combo Edge Lit Exit Sign series is designed with high power LED for the emergency lights and SMD LEDs for the exit sign portion. The unit is constructed with a red or green high output LED board. Energy consumption is rated at less than 3 watts. Directional heads have a total of 250 lumen output.
EMERGENCY OPERATION
Upon failure of the normal utility power, an internal solidstate transfer switch automatically provides uninterrupted emergency operation for at least 90 minutes. The fully automatic solid-state, two-rate charger initiates battery charging to recharge a discharged battery in 24 hours.
BATTERY - BATTERY BACKUP
The NYCOMBOELR series is designed with a 3.6V 1800mAh, maintenance-free Ni-Mh battery. The battery is protected by a low voltage cut-off circuit. Battery must be connected during installation.

Spacing is measured in lab condition with an assumed open space, no obstruction and reflection rates of 80 (ceiling) / 50 (walls) / 20 (floor). Actual spacing may vary depending on what environment the fixture is installed in.
ELECTRICAL COMPONENTS
Dual voltage input 120/277 VAC operation. LED display indicates AC/ON. An external push button test switch allows maintenance personnel to quickly determine the operational status of the unit. Unit offers brown out, overload and short circuit protection.
INSTALLATION
The NYCOMBOELR Combo Edge Lit Exit Sign series is suitable for wall or ceiling recessed mounting. Note: the recessed box has a width in excess of 16" so depending on orientation, it may not be compatible with traditional 16" on center framing. Includes field installable directional arrow indicators. All hardware is included.
